Prayer Team
Greenview is a church that believes in the power of prayer, as taught in the Bible:
Jesus said, “Whatever you ask in My name, that will I do, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son.” – John 14:13
We believe that we do not need to know your name or any personal details about you, because God knows everything about each one of us:
“Before I formed you in the womb I knew you.” – Jeremiah 1:5
We believe that God is concerned about our welfare and wants to help us:
Jesus said, “Come to Me, all who are weary and heavy-laden, and I will give you rest.” – Matthew 11:28
We believe that we don’t need to be near you physically in order for God to respond to our prayers and act in your life:
A man asked Jesus to heal his son, who was at the point of death. Jesus said to him, “Go; your son lives.” When he returned home and found the boy alive and well, the man enquired as to when this had happened. He found it to have been at the exact time Jesus spoke. (John 4:46-54)
The Bible says that God is love, and we are to follow Him by being a people of love.
God is powerful and able to help in any situation.
